M2M Cloud Management Platform
Overview
M2M Device Cloud Platform is an integrated software platform for device management and data collection. The software provides comprehensive management functions such as status monitoring, remote parameter configuration, remote restart, and upgrades for the full range of wireless DTU/RTU/routers and other products. And it can be used for data collection, storage, display, forwarding, etc. in the sensor industry. The platform is based on the BS model and allows direct access to the UI through a browser.

The device and platform use TCP/UDP communication;
The communication protocol is customized and developed based on the WMMP protocol of China Mobile, with a custom binary protocol format;
The platform uses MySQL as the relational database.
Flow chart
1) After the device is powered on and started, dial up to connect to the network, send a Login command to the M2M platform to log in, and the platform will first check if the device exists after receiving the information. If it already exists, set the device to online status; If it does not exist, first add a new device to the system and put it online;
2) After successful login, the device reports basic information, including software version number, etc; Platform updates related information;
3) The device regularly sends heartbeat packets to the platform, reporting operational information such as traffic usage and network signal strength. After receiving the heartbeat, the platform updates the accumulated relevant information and sends back the packet;
4) If there is a task that needs to be executed, the platform issues instructions to the device, such as querying parameters. After receiving the instructions, the device executes the relevant actions and replies with the execution results to the platform.
